Q:What is the expiration date on this cartridge?
A: ONE-YEAR.
Q:Is this cartridge a genuine Kodak 10XLB 10C ?
A:NO.It is Compatible Ink Cartridge by HOTCOLOR,not made by Kodak.NOT OEM.
Q:How do you fix the expired ink error?
A:Because these are Compatible, it is common for the printer to read similar ‘error’ messages,in rare occasions the cartridge may read as expired. To get past this, please try the following troubleshooting tips:
1. Take cartridge out of the printer and close the door/cover
2. Turn the printer off and un-plug it from the wall for 30 seconds
3. Gently wipe the gold connection points found on the side of the cartridge; you may use a soft, lint free cloth or cotton swab and alcohol
4. Power the printer back on and allow it to fully warm up
5. Re-install the cartridge and make sure it ‘clicks’ or ‘snaps’ into place
6.Then the ink level will still read and the cartridge will print as normal even though it read as expired.
7.If the troubleshooting does not help, via email we will assist you further.
